THE FOLLOWING ARE LINKS TO IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Comprehensive zoning table can be found here:
The address to view in map form:
The Consistency Table.
Most of the properties listed on the Consistency table are those that have split zoning. For example,a property that is R1 (1 home per acre) may have a portion that is currently zoned OS (open space.) The County is now looking to change the entire property to R1.
We have compiled a spreadsheet of the changes. (attached)
Councilman Smith had stated if you have property on this list and DO NOT want the County’s
recommended change you will need to click on a link that he said he would send to us and notify the
Office of Planning and Zoning and the office of Planning and Zoning will notify Mr. Smith.
The best way to show the Council that you have an interest in the community is to attend the County Council Sessions. A large showing of neighbors will speak volumes.
Please attend the County Council session and consider testifying. Everyone is given 2 minutes to
speak. That testimony will be invaluable but your presence will speak volumes. In addition, please
take the time to write to ALL the members of the County Council to let them know how you feel:
